WALIS Council

WALIS Council, comprising representatives from each of the WALIS member agencies, which focuses on operational coordination and information exchange. WALIS Council is the information hub of WALIS and provides professional advice on technical issues. The Council is also responsible for managing stakeholder relationships.

The WALIS Spatial Management Group (SMG) relies on WALIS Council as its prime source of information on matters relevant to WALIS and SLIP. Information may be provided either as direct assistance from Council, or as a result of the SMG seeking consultation or specific detail on a matter of concern.
