WA Spatial Nexus

Collaboration initiative between ASIBA, CRCSI, SSI & WALIS

The WA Spatial Nexus is an informal collaboration of representative organisations associated with the geospatial technologies industry in Western Australia.  The Nexus was established in 2006 to foster relationships and communication for the sharing information on strategic and operational issues affecting the industry.  The Nexus represents the entire WA geospatial technologies community.

The aim of the Nexus, through a collaborative approach, is to ensure that the State has the capability to capitalise on geospatial technologies for the benefit of the State and its people.

The Nexus is comprised of senior representatives from:
  • Australian Spatial Information Business Association (ASIBA)
  • Cooperative Research Centre for Spatial Information (CRCSI)
  • Spatial Sciences Institute (SSI)
  • Western Australian Land Information System (WALIS)

Stay tuned for initiatives and outcomes from the Nexus.
