WALIS Committees

WALIS was established by the Western Australian government to coordinate access to spatial information held by government agencies and facilitate cross-sectoral consultation and liaison. This mandate was achieved through a three tiered committee Governance model supported by WALIS Office – the three tiers, in descending order being: the WALIS Executive Policy Committee (EPC); the WALIS Spatial Management Group (SMG); and the WALIS Council.
