The Interragator product was recently upgraded and is now called the Interragator+
Aug 2007
The new Interragator+ is now live.
July 2007
The original 5 ASDD nodes will no longer be used to group the records in the new Interragator+. The new system will have all records in a single category. Briefing sessions have been carried out in June for Interragator agency administrators in preparation for the go live date in August. For further information regarding this process please contact Diana Adorno on 9272 7707
June 2007
Work is progressing on schedule for the August cut over date. Briefing sessions will be carried out in late May early June for Interragator agency administrators in preparation for the go live date in August. Administrators will be contacted to arrange these sessions. For further information regarding this process please contact Diana Adorno on 9272 7707

Each Agency’s responsibilities re data migration from the old Interragator into the new Interragator+:
Agencies are responsible for checking their own data in the new Interragator+ this will have been migrated from the old format to the new format in accordance with the new ANZLIC metadata profile (ISO Standard 19139). Each agency is responsible for ensuring that the integrity of their data has been maintained. A representative from each agency with metadata in the system has already been contacted and is assisting in this process. For further information regarding this process please contact Diana Adorno on 9272 7707
April 2007
We have suspended access to updating metadata records on the Interragator site, we are in the process of migrating the records to the new Interragator+ metadata catalogue.
The new Interragator+ catalogue (and migrated records) will be available in early July 2007. After this time, all new metadata records will have to be entered into the Interragator+ product.

March 2007
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in the Interragator test environment is due to be completed by mid March with a 20th March go live date. Data verification by agencies will commence from this date, with all existing Interragor data being published to the new Interragator+.
February 2007
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in the Interragator test environment is due to be carried out mid February. Testing is being undertaken initially by three agencies. It is anticipated that data verification by other agencies can commence from 5th of March and be completed by mid May 2007.
January 2007
The migration of metadata records from Interragator to Interragator+ is currently underway; the date for UAT (User Acceptance Testing) data testing has been provisionally pencilled in for the late January 2007. The initial testing will be undertaken by Landgate and DIOR with the documentation and training for publishers in other agencies rolled out in the near future. A list of admin users has been complied and logons are currently being created.
December 2006
The ANZLIC ISO Metadata profile is now signed off!! The WALIS office is examining the converted metadata to check for errors and is setting up processes for end users to easily check their metadata to ensure the migration was successful. The metadata will be back-ported to the ASDD to continue to provide information nationally until such time as the ASDD migrates to the new ANZLIC standard.
November 2006
Testing of the migration process to go from the existing metadata statement format to the new format has commenced and subsequent migration of metadata records will occur in the near future. Training for publishers and agency admins will occur shortly to give users a chance to become familiar with the interface and workflow processes.
October 2006
The majority of current work on the new Interragator+ is focusing on final workflow processes and getting ready for the metadata migration into the new environment. Interface design and backend system processes are being finalised with the feedback provided through the user feedback session with key stakeholders.
September 2006
A draft of the Interragator+ has been created and was presented at the WALIS forum. A final build of the portal toolkit (used to create the catalog) has been delivered and final testing is underway. Final polishing of the site is commencing with a user feedback session planned. Use cases and workflows are being tested to make sure end users can enter metadata and find relevant records.
August 2006
Initial testing has been performed to make sure the product meets SLIP consortium requirements. The WALIS office is stepping through work-flows to see how end users will be able to publish data in the new environment. The WALIS office is also working at a conceptual level to make sure WALIS agency needs will be met into the future.
July 2006
Work is preparing to get underway on upgrading the Interragator product to the new SLIP environment. The new "Interragator +" will be a key product in the "Publish, Find, Bind" Concept for accessing spatial information. A fair amount of work will be required to migrate the current metadata into the new ANZLIC compliant metadata profile, but once that is completed, the portal toolkit (Interragator +) will allow online metadata creation and uploading.
