June 2006
A review of the SLICP has produced a technical report (2005) and an overview report (2006) with a number of recommendations to improve the SLICP program. It offers suggestions for improving the administrative and governance arrangements for the program, as well as showing a need for more education about the program in general. Further recommendations look at the overall SLICP requirements and technical improvements such as utilising new remote sensing platforms (LIDAR, Satellite, SONAR etc.).
