This movie was created by Geoscience Australia for the ISDE7 opening ceremony.

It displays global, national and regional datasets on a virtual globe. The datasets were sourced from Geoscience Australia and NASA.

The movie was developed using animation software built on NASA’s World Wind virtual globe. The virtual globe application and animator are used at Geoscience Australia to visualise a range of geoscience datasets, including those developed at Geoscience Australia and others that are freely available from Web Map Services.
