Invitation to submit abstracts
To ensure you submit an abstract that adheres to the guidelines, please review the following information.
This invitation is your opportunity to contribute to ISDE7, WALIS Forum 2011 and the State NRM Conference by sharing your knowledge, experience and insight with over 1000 digital earth modellers, spatial industry peers and those working in environment and sustainability areas.
The aim of the Conference is to provide a platform for delegates to share insights, develop networks and gain knowledge and understanding from the work achieved, being undertaken and planned for the future. The State NRM element will add another dimension to the conference this year.
Chosen abstract authors will be given the opportunity to present complete or work-in-progress projects.
Submissions
Abstracts should be no more than 250 words and a brief biography of the presenter is to be submitted with the abstract. In order for delegates to gain maximum value from each presentation, we request that abstracts include examples of how the information can be used and where relevant, provide examples of how the information can be applied. Please also clearly communicate the value of your experience and indicate if you would like your paper peer reviewed.
Abstracts and biographies are to be submitted via https://www2.iceaustralia.com/ei/cm.esp?id=173&pageid=_33A0M5QO4 by 7 March 2011.
Notification of acceptance of your paper for presentation at the Conference will be by 31 March 2011. This acceptance may constitute an offer for an oral or poster presentation.
Papers will be published after the Conference. The
best papers will be considered for
publication in the ISDE’s International Journal of Digital Earth, an SCI
expanded journal.
