program | keynote presentations | workshops | speaker bios

Online registrations have closed.

You can still register for the Teachers Stream at the WALIS Forum. The registration desk at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre will be open from 8.00am on Thursday 13 and Friday 14 March.

Teachers interested in geographical information systems (GIS) and spatial technology will be introduced to spatial information and given the chance to further their skills in using spatial technologies.  Teachers will also have the opportunity to network with the industry and participate in some of the sessions and keynote addresses in the Forum program.  The stream will include workshops with ESRI Australia, MapInfo, Google Australia, Australian Bureau of Statistics and various state government departments.

The Teachers Stream is suited to teachers of all learning phases and curriculum areas, with a focus on Geography, Society and Environment, Science, Environmental Education, Design and Technology and ICT.

Download the preliminary program for more information, or find out more about the keynote presentations and workshops.  Biographies of the presenters are also available here.

A special price for teachers has been negotiated.
