WALIS Executive Policy Committee

The WALIS EPC is the governing body of WALIS and comprises Chief Executive Officers and Directors General of nine WALIS member agencies that have custodianship responsibilities for the majority of the WA Government’s spatial datasets.

It is currently chaired by the Chief Executive, Landgate. The role of the EPC is to provide strategic direction and endorse overall policy and strategic plans, ensuring alignment with Whole of Government policies and priorities for sharing spatial information.  As of October 2006, the EPC is also the peak body responsible for the ongoing implementation and growth of SLIP.

EPC members are Chief Executive Officers and Directors General of the following agencies:

  • Landgate
  • Department for Planning and Infrastructure
  • Department of Agriculture and Food
  • Department of Mines & Petroleum
  • Fire and Emergency Services Authority
  • Department of Environment and Conservation
  • Department of the Premier and Cabinet
  • Department of Water
  • Department of Housing
