Access initiatives

Projects in Western Australia making data more accessible.

  1. The Shared Land Information Platform (SLIP) is a shared information delivery service which provides fast and easy access to the State's land information.  SLIP is coordinating a multi-agency real time spatial data web service.
  2. The Clearinghouse is an on-line warehouse of spatial data from WALIS agencies.  Access is currently restricted to WALIS agencies.
  3. The State Land Information Capture Program (SLICP) is the state-wide capture of digital spatial data, aerial photography, satellite imagery and map production for state and local government.

It is designed to reduce cost and avoid duplication in data capture.

If you can:

  • Engage in the process with (potentially) 18 month lead times;
  • Demonstrate that your spatial data requirements have a shared interest across government;

OR can

  • Contribute to the cost of data capture.

SLICP is for you.
